Sai Chung Lee

Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition - First Round Finalist

Sai Chung Lee began studying piano at the age of 5. Since then, he has gone to achieve his AmusA in 2018 and LmusA with distinction in 2020 under Kathryn Connors. He is currently in his first year at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University studying Classical Piano under the tutelage of Natasha Vlassenko, and is the recipient of the Emily Reinhardt Piano Scholarship. He has had success at competitions, notably winning the 18 years and under (2022, 2023), Diploma (2021, 2022, 2023) and Max Olding Bursary (2022) at the Queensland Piano Competition. He has also received the Juanita Wood Award at the Gold Coast Eisteddfod in 2022. Sai Chung hopes to pursue a career as a musician.
