Young Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition - First Round Finalist

Symphony Shi began her piano journey at the age of 5 and was accepted into the Rising Stars Program at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music at age 8, where she has been studying under the guidance of Ms. Grace Kim. Symphony’s international competition achievements include winning the Sardoal International Piano Competition 2021 (Juvenile Category), the VI Future Stars International Piano Competition 2021 (Piano Talents Category), the Play Bach International Piano Competition 2022 (Step to Bach - 14 Years and under), the Pica Schubert International Music & Art Competition 2023 (Baroque Under Age17 Category), the International Mozart Competition 2023 (Age12-13 Category), the Golden Sound Award 2024 (Talent Category), the Best Classical Musicians Awards 2024 (Best Etude Performance Category), and the 4th Lugano International Music Competition (maximum age 16). Beyond these achievements, she has also earned many prizes in eisteddfods. At the age of 12, Symphony was invited to perform as a solo pianist at the Sydney Opera House for the Cantabile Music Festival 2022, hosted by the Arts Unit of the NSW Education Department. Additionally, she has attended many piano masterclasses across Australia. Currently, Symphony is a recipient of a Music Scholarship at Meriden School.
