Tiger Han

Young Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition - First Round Finalist

Tiger Han is a pianist whose musical journey began under the tutelage of Ms. Crystal Zhao at the age of 5. Throughout his formative years, Tiger has honed his craft through enriching experiences, including master classes with esteemed pianists such as David Lockett, Konstantin Shamray, Marija Bajalica, and Émile Naoumoff. Under the guidance of mentors like Stephanie McCallum and Jianing Kong, Tiger has cultivated his talent and refined his artistry.

 

Tiger's dedication and talent have been recognised through numerous achievements. He attained a High Distinction in his piano LMusA diploma in 2022. His prowess on the piano has been celebrated in various competitions, where he emerged victorious as the most outstanding pianist at the Ryde Eisteddfod 2023, winner of the Sydney Eisteddfod Recital Award 12 under, and the St George Eisteddfod Open Junior Piano Championship in 2022. His international acclaim includes winning the Exceptional Young Talent special prize in the Bonn and Salzburg Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competitions, as well as earning a finalist spot in the Rossell International Piano competition in 2021. Notable achievements include securing the 3rd prize in the Lancaster International Piano Festival and the Chopin Avenue International Piano Competition in 2020.

 

Tiger was a featured instrumentalist performing the Tchaikovsky concerto in grand productions such as the Schools Spectacular held at the Qudos Bank Arena in 2022. Additionally, Tiger has showcased his virtuosity as a soloist at the Sydney Opera House concert hall during the Festival of Instrumental Music in 2019 and 2022.
