Oliver She

Born in China and raised in Brisbane, Oliver is a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music (England) and University of Queensland, having also held an accompanist position at the RNCM for two years. Winner of the ABC Symphony Australia Young Performers Awards, Oliver made his concerto debut at the age of fourteen with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra.

First prize winner in the 2018 Australian National Piano Award and 2014 Brant International Piano Competition (Birmingham, England), Oliver has also been recipient of major prizes at the London Beethoven Intercollegiate Piano Competition, ANU Chopin International Piano Competition, Southern Highlands International Piano Competition, Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition, and the Yamaha Australian Youth Piano Competition.

Oliver has performed widely across Australia and in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Japan, and Korea. Notable appearances include a chamber performance in London’s Wigmore Hall in 2015, a concerto with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House in 2012, and concerto performances with the Queensland Symphony and RNCM Symphony Orchestras. He has also performed in music festivals in Australia and abroad, and has been featured on ABC Classic FM and TV on several occasions.

Commencing doctorate studies at the Queensland Conservatorium in 2019 with Natasha Vlassenko and Catherine Grant, Oliver’s past mentors include Graham Scott, Max Olding, Pamela Page and Ling-zi Li.
